To help stem the spread of Covid-19 we’ve been following the guidelines and recommendations issued by health agencies. We put together a contingency plan of preventive measures to first and foremost protect the health of all our employees, customers, suppliers, investors and their families at our offices in Spain and Taiwan and at the same time guarantee the operation of the company. Like many other technology companies worldwide our normal protocols have evolved.
As our team in Valenica move forward to the next phase under Spain’s de-escalation plan check out below the new “normal” for our day-to-day operations during and post COVID-19.
What we’ve done so far
- To support self-distancing efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19, we have embraced a work from home policy where possible and suspended all unnecessary travel.
- The availability of our employees for meetings and communication via email, video conference and telephone remains the same as always, with the same hours and services as previously provided.
- On site, we have introduced shift work for our production team in accordance with government regulations and health guidelines. This helps protect the health and safety of our talented team and at the same time introduces the right level of flexibility to maintain operations with minimal impact on customer expectations. The measures taken do not affect in any way developments and customer support.
- Products are and will continue to be available.
What we are doing to prepare for post COVID-19
- Our top concern is to ensure the health and safety of all staff and visitors. We’ve offered tests to all staff and we’ve distributed masks and hand sanitizer to staff. We’re working to implement enhanced cleaning measures.
- We’ve implemented a protocol for visitors that includes the distribution of disposable protective gear
- To support longer-term social distancing measures and increase our production capacity our new facilities including office and production capacity in Valencia Spain will be ready this summer.
- We are continuing to hire new full-time engineering and scientific staff. We currently have a number of posts available. Check out the details here.
