The global photonics industry met at #LASERWorldofPHOTONICS in Munich last week. @photonicSENS participated for the first time and was impressed by the cross industry added value with various shows taking at the same venue which provided for a great atmosphere and excellent discussions among participants, suppliers, and customers. #AUTOMATICA, the leading trade fair for robotics and automation, took place in parallel. Visitors to both shows took advantage of the opportunity to see our leading-edge 3D cameras in action, offering simultaneous 2D & 3D vision in one shot!
We showcased apiCAM, our family of compact and cost effective single lens 3D cameras that offer unparalleled perception for short range alignment and inspection applications. In keeping with our motto for the show: bringing the invisible to light, we had a display of exciting hands-on demonstrations including:
- Micro positioning & alignment: High precision sensor alignment
- 3D inspection of small parts: Electronic connector pin inspection
- 3D in production control & inspection: Watch assembly and quality inspection
- 3D Quality inspection: PCB weld inspection
- 3D Metrology: verification and calibration of parts and components
